About the Grant

Continued support to Health Resources in Action (HRiA) to develop, implement, and evaluate an evidence-based social marketing campaign that will build community awareness, readiness, and political will in support of CWF. This process will begin with two states, Massachusetts and Vermont, in which CWF policy campaigns will be launched via community organizing, and a comprehensive literature review will be conducted to inform the social marketing strategy. HRiA will launch targeted CWF campaigns, initially focused on changing the perceptions of the public and policymakers related to CWF via a social marketing campaign and coalition advocacy work, with a goal of increasing the number of New England communities accessing community water fluoridation (CWF) using this multi-pronged strategy.
