Michigan State Meeting
Six states are uniquely positioned to create permanent and positive change around oral health in the coming years: California, Arizona, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. Heavy Oral Health 2020 investment in these states has catalyzed a robust and dynamic network that spans the grassroots and community based organizations, statewide advocacy and policy organizations, as well as grasstops leaders with national influence. Deeping the connections and expanding the role of these six states in the mounting oral health movement has the potential to maximize each state’s effort to achieve real momentum and impact across the Oral Health 2020 goals. These six states will serve as models for the nation, emphasizing the benefits of a strong, collaborative statewide infrastructure to transform the systems surrounding oral health. Stakeholders from across all three network levels will come together and align for action, create shared agendas, and develop strategies that will result in marked progress on oral health across each state.
