Innovation Fund for Oral Health

Innovation Fund for Oral Health

What Now? What Next? What If?

Innovative strategies are necessary to address the many significant barriers to optimal oral health. The DentaQuest Foundation defines innovation as a creative process that involves developing new ideas or applying existing ideas in new ways in order to create value. The Innovation Fund for Oral Health represents a unique opportunity for inventive nonprofits to leverage Foundation resources to develop and test new solutions to inequities in oral health and to partner with the Foundation to bring effective solutions to scale to achieve systems-level improvements that promote oral health. Applicants are advised to thoroughly evaluate their proposal ideas to assure that they meet the qualifying criteria of doing things differently and better.

Do You Have an Idea for Consideration?

Please read and review opportunities available through Oral Health 2020.

Prospective applications with innovative programs for funding consideration should address the following:

  1. Briefly describe how the proposed program or initiative positively impacts one or more of the Foundation's Systems Change Outcomes and the specific and measurable goals you will accomplish during the grant year.
  2. Identify where the proposed program or initiative falls within the Innovation Model for Systems Change.

Following a review of the concept paper and subsequent conversations, the Foundation may request a full proposal.
